Soul Runner Shirt

from $35.00

The Soul Runner was painted by my daughter and I.

I sketched a runner for her to watercolor to pass time one afternoon before a nap. She was four. She intently painted in the watercolor. When I noticed her work, looking down from my grown-up height in the kitchen. She was bent over on the tile floor. Low and behold she had captured the heat and energy of a real runner! I grabbed the illustration from her, breathlessly hoping that I could grab it in time. Children always overpaint watercolors! That could not happen with this perfect image. Startled by my grab, she asked for another sketch, and was content to receive one, and carry on. We were both very happy.

Still to this day, I love the heat and light that radiates from the rainbow-colored runner. Plus, this illustration reminds me of my daughter, so that’s why I feel it is a keeper.

Printed in Denver, on soft wicking poly/cotton fabric blend. Ethically constructed by garment workers in Guatemala.

SHORT SLEEVE OR LONG SLEEVE. COLOR OF THE T-SHIRT IS “NATURAL”
